In most cases, getting a puppy is all about that heart decision. You get
the puppy home and then what? Puppy-hood should be taken very seriously as
it is a critical time for setting a dog up to be healthy, happy and a good
companion for years to come. There are sensitive periods in a puppy’s life
when training and development need to be handled with caution and careful
attention. Judith Levy has developed the Polite Puppy Program (a private
in-home program) to prepare families and their home as well as to address
all necessary issues for the newest family member. For those who prefer a
class situation , Judith offers a Puppy Socialization Class which is limited
to four pups, so individual attention can be given. Now offered in the South
Hills.

This will insure the proper development of socialization and help prevent fear and aggression issues later. Class rules and equipment list will be sent to registrants after they sign up for class. The fee for these four classes is $100. Two people per household are welcome to attend per registration. (The space is limited so we regret that no more than two people may attend.) To register or to have questions answered, call Peace of Mind Pet Behavior Consulting at 412-521-5133 or email Judith Levy. Judith will send you the class guidelines, which you can sign and mail back with your payment. No refunds offered later than one week before 4 week program begins. ... About to purchase or adopt a puppy? Call Peace of Mind first and avoid headaches later! Many behavior problems in dogs are the result of improper care and lack of socialization and training in early puppyhood. The Polite Puppy Program is a private in-home program that prepares the entire family and the house for a new puppy and then -- after the dog arrives -- provides hands-on instruction in the proper care of your new family member. Peace of Mind provides guidance and instruction in the following areas:
All of these introduced early and respectfully will create a well-adjusted dog with socially acceptable manners. |
