Reiki training also prepares individuals who wish to treat family members or even themselves with Reiki.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient natural system of healing that comforts, relieves pain, promotes relaxation, releases toxins in the body and assists in removing disturbances in the body that impede good health and feeling good.

During training, the student is attuned by the Reiki Master allowing them to then access the spiritually guided life force energy (Reiki). Those drawn to pursue Reiki training are encouraged to use Reiki to create better health and balance for self so that they can be more effective Reiki practitioners.

Reiki is being used in hospitals, cancer treatment centers, veterinary clinics and zoos, and has also been found to be effective in:

  • Drastically reducing fearfulness
  • Facilitating healing in pre- and postoperative procedures
  • Reducing aggression in animals
  • Creating emotional balance in animals and people
  • Treating animals that have both simple and complex trauma
  • Enabling the body's energy system to return to a state of balance so that the body can naturally heal itself
